December 7th

Also, this Saturday Dec. 10th, tune into CBC Radio One at
10am and hear the Gentleman Reg band perform songs live on
the program GO, with host Brent Bambury. For more info on

November 28th
Live Video footage has been added to the sights and sounds section of the
site.
Check out these live video clips taken of the band and various other
appearances Reg has made over the past year with the Hidden Cameras and
Final Fantasy. All clips were shot by Jeff Harris.
October 26th
Gentleman Reg plays New York! This is the first NY shows
for the band since their debut there last year at CMJ. You
have two chances to show them some good ol' NY love.
Nov 4th at Tonic in Manhattan (107 Norfolk Street) performing
at 8pm, and Nov 5th at Pete's Candy Store in Williamsburg
(709 Lorimer Street) performing at 10pm.
October 11th
Some new albums have just been released that feature small
backing vocal guesting from Reg. Check them out, they are
both amazing and beautiful albums. They are, The
Constantines' Tournament of Hearts, and Kepler's
Attic Salt.

August 2nd
The current issue of Exclaim has a great article on the label
Three Gut Records, and their decision to cease releasing more
music. Gentleman Reg has been a part of Three Gut Records
since the beginning and has released all three of his albums
on the label.

June 16th
Finally! The video for "The
Boyfriend Song" is finished and ready for viewing.

the video now. A project put together with love. Kevin directed,
Chris shot, Iris edited, and George tied it all up and presented
it to us with ribbons and bows. Thanks to everyone who danced
and kissed, and to everyone else who put time into the making,
it was so much fun to film we were tempted to do it again.
Trust us, it was worth the wait.
May 31st
The record label Arts&Crafts
has just set up an online shop where you can purchase albums
by all the bands on their label, as well as, albums by friends
of the label.
Gentleman Reg is super-excited to be one of the first bands
not on the label to have his album Darby &
Joan available for digital download from this site. You
can preview songs, then purchase single tracks, or the entire
album. And, as a bonus for purchasing the whole album you
also get the song 'Give me the chance to fall' which is from
the last record Make Me Pretty, which Reg has frequently
performed with Broken
Social Scene at their shows over the past few years.

May 28th
Check out the June issue of OUT
magazine. Gentleman Reg made it on their "Hot List"
of "People, places and things that will make summer 2005
sizzle." And see the amazing photo taken by New York
City based photographer Frits
Berends. It's the first photo that comes up under the

Also, keep checking back for the premiere of the video for

April 30th
Reg ended up performing with Final
Fantasy (Owen Pallett) as he opened for the Arcade
Fire at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto. In a truly
had to be there moment, they performed a cover of Mariah Carrey's
song "Fantasy' on all three nights of the performances.
Mimi never sounded so good!
April 14th
The very first Gentleman Reg video has been shot and is currently
being edited with plans for release sometime in the coming
month. It's a hot little affair, directed by Broken
Social Scene(ster) Kevin Drew and shot by Chris
Grismer (Arcade Fire, The
Stills, Queer as Folk), and features an amazing cast of
Toronto's finest art kids. It's for 'The Boyfriend Song'.

March 5th
Reg lends vocals to the brand new release from Owen Pallett's
Final Fantasy project. It's an amazing and beautiful album.

February 14th
Gentleman Reg opens for the incredible Antony and the Johnsons
at The
Drake Hotel Wed. the 16th.
This is a rare Toronto apperance for Antony and is a must
see, his voice is truly unbelievable. There will be two shows
7pm and 10pm. Reg opens both shows and performs solo.

January 27th
There are two chances to hear gentleman reg on the radio
in the next week. Sat. 29th at 5:30pm on CIUT
89.5, Reg will be interviewed. Then on Wed. Feb.
2nd Gentleman Reg performs live to air on CFRU
93.3 at the University of Guelph, this performance
will be followed up by an interview.
January 10th
Gentleman Reg makes it into Now magazines best of 2004 edition
